Summer 2018 Content Season :: Delayed

I apologize for the Content Season pause/break. We are currently undergoing an hardware upgrade, which will take some time. We will try to post a new video pertaining to this in a few days if all goes well. Please continue to track the activity on LTT forums - that will give an indicator as to what's bound to happen next (in terms of upgrades to the current recording/gaming setup). We intend to give the best content (in terms of quality) possible, but that can only be done practically if we do this equipment first. Video production and export times were a bit lengthy on the original workstation. As such, we were unable to quite keep to the bi-weekly schedule we had planned to implement. With a faster (pair of) CPUs and a possible GPU upgrade in the near future, we should be able to keep up with demand on this platform. Twitch streams have been delayed  as well, due to this issue, seeing that time that would have gone into that instead went into troubleshooting our first version/revision of this workstation (intended to run in ESXi VMs - scrapped due to difficulty). IT Person Has It Hard (shoulda made a backup)

Okay - I screwed up. While prepping for this ESXi transition, I forgot to take note of my Windows license keys. As a result, I managed to lose 2 licenses - Windows Server 2016 Datacenter and Standard. Which sucks, because I kinda need (at least one of them) to install that OS first, to get vCenter Server working. That manages ESXi, which would (in turn) complete the ESXi setup. I managed to save the Windows 10 Enterprise license, the Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Plus license - but not the ones I was using for Windows Server 2016. Derp. That's gonna set me back a week, since I have to wait until my next paycheck to replace it/them (and will add unexpected cost to this entire project).  ESXi status - delayed indefinitely...

Excuse me while I go cry in a corner until I recoup my losses
